What is a Biz Voice Mark?
It's free advertising for your business, created in your own voice. GeoGraffiti makes your verbal messages available for any mobile phone user to hear while traveling within your store's vicinity, as well as in GeoGraffiti's Google map mashup.

How to create a Biz Voice Mark?
What does it cost? I think we covered that, nothing ... no kidding! In the future, GeoGraffiti will sell premium services and functionality, but the basic Biz Voice Mark functionality will remain free. Note: If you call GeoGraffiti directly, you will be making a call to the (213) area code of Los Angeles, California, which may incur standard long distance charges for remote callers. Who provides the Voice Mark audio content? You do, using our automated Voice Marking system. Of course you have the option of using your own voice talent when its appropriate. Although from a consumer point of view, there is often nothing more compelling than hearing the authenticity of a promotional message delivered in the business owner's voice! What is a Voice Mark title? Each Biz Voice Mark has a verbal 'title' that briefly introduce the idea and content of the corresponding BVM. The title is also created by you, and recorded directly after BVM creation. Effective titles are phrases or short sentences that quickly summarize the BVM's topic. When consumers search GeoGraffiti, they are presented with a list of Voice Mark titles for review, and the titles enable them to better identify which Voice Mark is of interest and should be listened to in its entirety. How do I correct or replace an existing Biz Voice Mark?

Can I forward my Biz Voice Mark advertisement to my customers or use it in marketing material? Yes, you can use a Biz Voice Mark sound message to promote your business in any way you'd like. Simply use the custom URL link provided upon creating a Biz Voice Mark. This link enables any recipient to play/hear the message in any web browser. The BVM playback is displayed in our Google map ‘mashup’ interface, highlighting the location of your store. Is my personal phone number or biz phone number exposed to the public when I use GeoGraffiti? No! Your phone numbers are only used internally for verification. If you want to reveal your biz phone, use the 'tag' feature by opening your Biz Voice Mark on our Google map ‘mashup’ interface. Again, we'll email you a direct link to access your BVM upon its creation. Does GeoGraffiti support my mobile phone type and/or carrier? We support any phone and all carriers. To use GeoGraffiti, there are no software downloads, subscription activation, text-messaging or web access requirements. With any phone, anybody can use GeoGraffiti to Voice Mark the world or search and retieve location-specific information. How can I report a problem or suggest a new feature? |
Formulate an idea of what you want to say and make sure your venue's telephone is accessible.
Click on the link provided in the GeoGraffiti Business Solutions Welcome email. This initiates the BVM creation process whereby you will receive a phone call from our automated system.
Follow the voice prompts and record your Biz Voice Mark. GeoGraffiti will send you a confirmation email and automatically publish your BVM and make it available to any mobile phone user searching for information in your area.
