Your email address is private so don't worry! It will never be exposed to the public. Your first and last name and birthday become part of your public profile that other users will be able to see.

Your phone number is used to internally link your Voice Marks to your GeoGraffiti User Name. Note: We respect the privacy of your phone number. It is not exposed to the public. While Carrier and Model are not required to register, you will need to set the Carrier if you want to receive text message notifications. Setting the Model allows us to tailor your GeoGraffiti experience as best as possible to your particular model (e.g. If you indicate that you have an iPhone, a notification indicating that someone responded to your VoiceMark can be sent out to you with an iPhone-specific link that you can click. Instead of manually having to open up a web browser [to listen to the response], the link will automatically open up the native GeoGraffiti application for iPhone and play the response.)
